The aquarium opened up its first show since Jones Beach in Broomfield, Colorado.
I wasn't allowed to go to the show since it was too far from my house and high school, but I'm going to review it anyway.
Phish played lots of popular songs but didn't play that many songs just playing twelve songs in total not like my favorite band Railroad Earth which plays at least 15 every time ((stat'd)).
Phish opened up the show by playing a song dedicated to their bass player Mike Gordon who plays bass guitar in the band Phish. The heady jams and tribal primal energies washed over the crowd to the tasty beats of this song.
There was another song or two after that but I was too busy posting on Twitter to catch the stream of what these epic level stadium exploding jam band was playing. Then they played a groove song into fee which can only refer to the price of tickets which are way too expensive for someone without a job. Maybe I can get backstage with them next tour??? Did you know I interviewed Billy Kruetzman?!!
Anyway I disgressing. The next two songs were Makipusa Policeman -> My Problem Right there. While its obvious to say how tasty and tight those jams were I still think Railroad Earth could have played them better. Custied!!!
Then Phish played another song and the name of the song was Slave to the Traffic Light. This song is racist and offensive to those who were slaves back when people were slaves, mostly at Disco Biscuits shows I think but I don't know my teacher started crying when I asked him about it so but still anyways like Phish played a good song about both car safety and slavery so we learned a lot. I interviewed Phish's trampoline after the show which I'll post about laterz!!!!
Phish also played Julius and Loving Cup but it was too late for me so I had to go to bed.
Here's a picture of the stage that is awesome just like Railroad Earth.
